Addressing the growing Anti-Transgender (LGBTQ+) and the Dehumanization of all marginalized people

OurTransLife.org was not conceived as a political activism organization with an agenda to influence legislation locally, or at the State level or the Federal level.  However, we must remain diligent and aware of the circumstances and causes that can adversely impact the rights of Transgender individuals and all marginalized groups, which has compelled me to offer…

There is growing malignant cancer which has infected and manifested itself into the fabric of American society, culture, and the  moral/ethical foundations of many Americans. This “malignancy” is creating gaping divisions in a nation founded on the premise “We the People….hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness….”

The rapid growth of this malignancy is growing exponentially seemingly on a daily basis. To continue the medical analogy, without fast aggressive treatment, the cancer will soon be a “stage four cancer” which is generally not survivable, and the patient in this analogy - the United States of America - will succumb and expire at a very young age of roughly 250 years.

Like many deadly malignancies there are multiple causes of concern that lead to decline, all working in unison slowly destroying the cellular fabric of life. In  the circumstance in which this Op-Ed essay is offered,  the two primary causes of concern - Dehumanization and Hate - cannot exist without each other.
