Imagine being a teenager — already navigating the complexities of school, identity, and belonging — and waking up each morning to headlines that question your very right to exist. For too many transgender and gender-diverse young people in Connecticut and across this country, that is not a hypothetical. That is Tuesday.

The legislative attacks on trans lives have grown more frequent, more coordinated, and more dangerous. In state after state, bills targeting transgender youth in schools, sports, and healthcare are advancing at an alarming rate. The message being sent to our young people is devastating — and without strong, visible, and vocal allies, it grows louder every day.

That is why OurTransLife.org (OTL) is launching Moving Forward Together — a campaign to build a powerful community of 1,000 allies standing side by side with transgender youth, one small pledge at a time.
